Volunteering at Oceanside Care Center

Thank you for choosing to volunteer at the Oceanside Care Center. Your servicies mean so much to the residents. If you don't know already, I'm trying to start a "Grandparent Program" for those that are interested. This "Grandparent Program" means that during your volunteering hours, you will be with one resident everytime you visit. I would like to pair up volunteers with residents that share similar interests. To ensure that you are paired with someone you can relate too, please fill out the form on the right. If you already know of a resident that you would like to be paired with please indicate that on the form.

If you would not like to be in the program, then dont worry about filling out the form.You can join the program or leave the program at anytime, however I ask that you let me know before you plan to leave because I'm sure the residents will start to look forward to your visits.

Aside from the "Grandparent Program", you are more then welcome to share stories, play board games, or just strike a conversation with any of the residents in the dining hall.
