For Teen Disciples

* Youth Group: A time to get together, hang out, get closer to
  each other and God.

* Confirmation: A three-year program of discipleship -- a great
  way to make friends and get to know God.

* Missions/Service: Serving our neighbors near and far is
  important to who we are! We serve local
  through a variety of ministries -- but we
  also go further from home. 2011: We're
  traveling to Schuylkill, PA and Washington D.C.
 
* Adopt-A-Grandparent: Creating relationships with our elders.

Young Women's Group: A supportive faith group for young women.
 
* REJOICE Dance Ministry: Worshipping God through dance and movement.

* Lutheran Youth Organization: Connecting with Lutheran Youth in the Metro- New York Area through events like the
  LYO Assembly and Lock-In, Jr. and Sr. High Retreats and fun days out.

* Regional/National Youth Events: Connecting with Lutheran Youth regionally and nationally through retreats and
  service, including attending the ELCA National Youth Gathering.

* Lock-In/Retreat Ministry: Taking time away from life's crazy schedule to reconnect, recharge and have a lot of fun!

* Pinecrest Lutheran Leadership Camp: A camp encouraging leadership, discipleship and general awesomeness!

* Servin' the Savior: There are a number of ways for people to participate in worship -- through theater, music, ushering,
  reading, as assisting minister, as gift bearer...even preaching now and again!

* Transition Ministry: A post-confirmation discipleship support group.

OLC is a very intergenerational place! There are a lot of wonderful ministries we do together -- with people of all ages! These are just a few specific opportunites for our amazing teen disciples.
